JAIN College Hubli Hosted Cavalcade 2k22
Cavalcade 2022, inter-collegiate commerce and management youth fest of JAIN Degree College, Hubli, aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of students while giving a platform to showcase their talent. This two-day youth fest was held on 30th June and 1st July 2022 at Royal Ritz. On day one, the event was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr. Ramesh Kulkarni, Director - Kousali Institute of Management Studies. In his address to the audience, he encouraged the participants stating the defining moment for them as this platform will be marked as a learning phenomenon to overcome challenges and explore their skills in various aspects. On March 9, 2022, JAIN College Hubli hosted Infinity 8.0, a leadership-oriented event that enabled students to learn essential skills in management. The event had Professor Tanuja B, HOD of BBA and B. Com Department, as the keynote speaker. The event aimed to foster strong team-building skills and train students in holding long-term goals. All individuals should keep themselves and their surroundings clean and hygienic. It enables the mind to develop positive thoughts and keeps health complications at bay. While launching the Swacch Bharat Mission at Rajpath in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "A clean India would be the best tribute India could pay to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth anniversary in 2019." INFINITY 7.0: Inter College Fest 2021
The intercollegiate fest INFINITY 7.0 was hosted by JAIN College on 20 March 2021. It gave a platform to the young students to compete and exhibit their skills and creativity. This event was bound to change the current learning environment of online classes and gave a new outlook with real practical experience. This fest witnessed an amalgamation of fun, learning, and proving their talents. The teams from various colleges who participated also realized the significance of team building, team management, their interests by enhancing their communication skills. It included various rounds like reasoning skills, planning, and multitasking. The enthusiastic performance by students made the event successful.
Session on "How to Overcome Exam Fear"
JAIN College organized a session on “How to Overcome Exam Fear” on 22 March 2021. The session was led by Dr. Aditya Pandurangi, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry DIMHANS, Dharwad. While addressing the students, Dr. Aditya Pandurangi said that getting accustomed to this new teaching-learning process and facing the final exams is more stressful for all PUC and undergraduate students. Hard Work is the only key to achieve success in the exams with proper planning and time management. He also said that students should learn judicious use of cell phones by having self-control in the usage of social media which distracts them from their goal.
When feeling depressed or stressed, Dr. Aditya Pandurangi suggested talking to the teachers, guides, and parents who could motivate them to take up the challenges. This session inspired the students and encouraged them to face their upcoming exams confidently.
