Technology Enabled Classrooms
The College encourages instructors to consider ways to incorporate the use of technology throughout the curriculum. Classrooms at Jain College use the 'technology in teaching' concept with multimedia equipment, LCD projectors and screens.
Networked Technology
We provide a comprehensive computer based service in the IT Centre with high speed internet access. Further, there are computers in classrooms & laboratories, with a wide range of specialist applications to support study programs.
Orientation
Academics at our center is monitored and guided by Jain College authorities, Banglore. The academic year at Jain College starts with a one week orientation which ends with an outbound activity. Students learn about The JGI Group philosophy of constant efforts and evolution and also get to know their respective teachers. Experts from various cities across the country come and enlighten the students on a gamut of topics like team building, goal setting, stress management, meditation and yoga, etc. Also guidelines pertaining to the internal evaluation, faculty feedback, student attendance, result analysis are executed.
Holistic Development
Jain College motivates students to advance the frontiers of knowledge along with holistic development. Emphasis is laid on the student's ability to adapt to a changing world by providing inputs through numerous activities. The aim is to inculcate values of integrity, refinement and human virtue. Active participation in inter-collegiate fests he lp them to develop sensitization to the society, people and environment.
Academic Review
The academic performance is reviewed regularly. Regular parent-teachers meetings are conducted. Students and parents are invited to these meetings to assess the performance of the student on individual basis, identify strengths and weaknesses and take appropriate measures in the preparation for the final Board Examination. Parents are encouraged to interact with the mentors and class teachers on a regular basis and monitor the performance of the student.
Industrial Visits
Learning at Jain College extends beyond the four walls of the classroom. Students visit various industries local as well as national and gain perspective on how things work in real world. They are required to submit reports on their learning to the respective class teachers. Industrial visits are conducted every year as part of the curriculum.
Workshops and Seminars
Jain College, Hubli arranges workshops & seminars throughout the year to enable students to locate disciplines within their broader business, economic, political and social contexts.
Sports
Sports activities form an integral part of the curriculum at Jain College Hubli. Within a very short span of its establishment, the institution has already started creating waves in sports at various levels from inter college to national. With quality infrastructure and dedicated trainers, sports aspirants here are developed into admirable players.
