This two-day youth fest was held on 30th June and 1st July 2022 at Royal Ritz. On day one, the event was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr. Ramesh Kulkarni, Director - Kousali Institute of Management Studies. In his address to the audience, he encouraged the participants stating the defining moment for them as this platform will be marked as a learning phenomenon to overcome challenges and explore their skills in various aspects. Dr. Kulkarni quoted a statement of Walt Disney, "The difference between winning and losing is most often not quitting."
Professor Maya Kulhalli, Principal - JAIN Degree College, addressed the gathering by saying that the college toasts its event with great excitement every year by creating some amazing memories. Of course, preparing for this day takes a lot of time and effort because it cannot be done overnight. It requires meticulous scrutiny of every element, as even the tiniest oversight might derail the entire endeavour. Life is truly special and with patience and hard work you will certainly make responsible decisions for yourself. There by wishing you all to keep achieving and reach great heights with flying colours.
Students of BBA and B.Com from various colleges of Belgaum, Bangalore, Davangere, Bellary, Gadag and many more colleges participated in various events.
On day two of Cavalcade, Mr. Vigesh Saigal, Chairman - Saigal Group of Industries, was welcomed as the chief guest for valedictory. He motivated young minds by saying, "He wishes to see youths as job creators rather than job seekers. Every individual should set goals for themselves and achieve them. The pursuance and energy are required to stand for yourself and achieve the target." The guest of honour for the day was Dr. Dinesh Nilkant, Director - CMS, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). Dr. Nilkant, who is the pillar of JAIN College for 13 years, ensured that students get all the facilities that would help them grow into better citizens. In his address to the audience, he wished students to carry forward the values of our Institution that will make the Institution proud.
On the last day, there were around 300 students who attended the event. The participants had to oversee end-to-end operations of all the events with administrative assistance from the college. This gave them the confidence to take crucial decisions in their department and lead a task. It will also help participants become better managers in the future. Volunteering and organizing such youth fest also displays a self-starter attitude, effective communication skills, and ability to multi-task among students.
The entire event was a great learning experience as it provided a platform to showcase the talent and hospitality of the volunteers. The fest concluded with the distribution of certificates and trophies to the winners.
