On March 9, 2022, JAIN College Hubli hosted Infinity 8.0, a leadership-oriented event that enabled students to learn essential skills in management. The event had Professor Tanuja B, HOD of BBA and B. Com Department, as the keynote speaker. The event aimed to foster strong team-building skills and train students in holding long-term goals. It also emphasized the importance of time management. It enabled students to exhibit their skills and allowed them to explore their abilities and leadership qualities. Students got to expand their network, which will be beneficial in finding better career opportunities. It helped them raise their self-esteem and self-awareness.

Infinity 8.0 is a platform for students to showcase their social abilities and understand the outward-oriented dimensions of emotional intelligence. Here, the participants were given various tasks to analyze whether or not they could handle pressures and tight deadlines. The aim was to make them learn how to remain stable and make quick decisions. Most important of all, the ability to work as a team was emphasized. Qualities like critical thinking, problem-solving, and imaginative approach remained the focus of the event. While addressing students, the speaker said, “The more difficult the victory, the greater the happiness in winning."

Infinity 8.0 was a phenomenal experience for students and faculty alike. All the participants appreciated the mentors. The event helped students to link academic knowledge with practical experience, thereby leading to a better understanding. The trophy of Infinity 8.O was lifted by JSS College, Dharwad. The second place was bagged by JAIN PU College, Hubli.
